As you might have known, especially you guys in Europe, a volcano errupted in Iceland and the smoke has covered up most of Europe. I even saw a guy on TV saying that he hates Iceland like an idiot it was so funny xD

But this really sucks. I'm on holidays and I'm supposed to go to France on Sunday and I don't even know if I can go! I bought tickets to go to places that I really want to go well all we can do now is pray. Is the smoke that dangerous (apart from the fact that you can't see if you pass through it)?

I was watching da news and they interviewed some guy who knows allot about smoke... (Can't remember his job, [probably cloud watching or something]) and when asked if the ash could harm your he said that it wouldn't harm someone, or effect them... They just can't fly through it (he didn't give a reason why...)

Most planes are auto pilot nowadays they just have a pilot just in case something goes wrong, I don't think it's being able to see that's the problem...

Oh. Well I hope the airports will open tomorrow! This smoke thing is making all the European countries lose a huge amount of money, something like 140 million euros my dad said, so it's sort of like a crisis (made by a volcano ).

Yes, I watched this on the news this morning and yesterday O_O I wouldn't panic about it too much, don't worry but I hope everything will get sorted out my School is on rugby tour this holiday and they went on a plane somewhere even though I'm not fond of those kids I hope they return safe.

your going to France? that should be coo i dont really see that thers much to do ther but walk around and look at things but it should feel kinda romantic at night ther lol

I have family there actually ^_^ oh and they say that the volcano that errupted is one of the smallest ones! europe is soon to be butter-toast!

I think they should let people fly from a country to a country as long as its in europe

They can not do that apparently, the engines and propellers aren't strong enough to last long through that smoke. That's what's been said on the news they should try through ship In my opinion

Oh guys I heard there's some smoke again and Ireland closed their airport. Does anyone have more news on this?

Yeah, the wind direction changed and most flights in northern Ireland and far west Scotland got canceled...

I hope it comes to France in the next few days so that I can extend my holidays!
